Spirit is a non-profit grassroots association based in Rijeka, Croatia, founded in 1997 by a group of students. It runs cultural, creative and educational programmes, including the Uhvati Film disability film festival, the Tajni Agent 010 youth film series, DreamDance movement workshops, the EcoActive Fest eco festival, DJ and sound schools, and exhibitions, concerts and public debates. Its work is carried out largely by volunteers, and it has organised more than 350 projects. Its activities centre on Rijeka and the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region, with the Uhvati Film festival also held in other Croatian towns and in Serbia.
