Tautmilės globa

Founded in 2012, Tautmilės globa is a non-governmental organisation based in Pagojis, Lithuania working on animal welfare.

VšĮ Tautmilės globa is a Lithuanian animal welfare organisation running an animal shelter (prieglaudėlė) at a farmstead in Pagojis, Vilnius district, with an earlier base at Rasų g. 39 in Vilnius. It was established in 2012 by a volunteer animal carer who had worked with several Vilnius animal welfare organisations. The shelter takes in stray, injured, sick and abandoned animals, provides veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and rehoming, and runs a placement service for animals seeking homes. It relies on donations, volunteers and paid staff, and invites Lithuanian taxpayers to allocate 1.2% of personal income tax (GPM) to the organisation. Its work is based in Vilnius and its surrounding region.
