Thessaloniki Fringe Festival

Founded in 2023, Thessaloniki Fringe Festival is a non-profit organisation based in Thessaloniki, Greece working on arts & culture.

Thessaloniki Fringe Festival (ThessFringe) is an annual, independent, open-access performing arts festival held in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is organised by the Greek non-profit Fringe Arts and is the only Fringe festival in Greece. The festival programmes theatre, dance, music, comedy, circus, physical theatre, family shows, cabaret and other genres, presenting international and local artists to local audiences. It runs an open call for artists, works with local venues that curate their own programmes, and hosts networking events for artists, arts professionals and press. Its stated aims are to create opportunities for artists, support local venues and arts professionals, and connect Greek artists with the international Fringe community. The festival also runs Thessaloniki Echoes, a year-round series of events, and a volunteer programme. The 2025 edition, its third, presented 19 shows from 10 countries across 8 venues. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 7 to 11 October 2026.
