Udruga Brod is a women's human rights association based in Slavonski Brod, Croatia, founded in 1998 to promote and protect women's rights. It works to prevent violence against women, support victims, and promote equality and non-violence. Its activities include a counselling service and safe shelter for women and children affected by family violence, free legal aid and psychosocial support, employment and social entrepreneurship support for women, and public campaigns such as Milijarda ustaje and SpeakOut. It also runs education and awareness programmes, advocates for changes in legislation and social norms, and takes part in international projects with women's funds in Europe. The association is supported by domestic and international donors and offers opportunities for volunteering.
