Founded in Vukovar in October 2007, it operates across Croatia through branches in nine counties and the City of Zagreb. Its work covers protecting the dignity and memory of the Homeland War, supporting members' wellbeing through psychosocial programmes and workshops, providing free legal assistance to members, and searching for missing veterans and civilian victims. It is a non-partisan, voluntary and non-profit body. Membership is open to children of killed or missing veterans, and associate membership is also available.
