UOSI Sinergija

UOSI Sinergija (Udruga osoba s invaliditetom Sinergija Samobor) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit association founded in 1995 in Samobor, Croatia. It promotes the health, educational, cultural, social, information and sports-recreational interests of people with disabilities, aiming to improve their quality of life and social integration. Its work includes personal assistance services and the licensing of personal assistance provision, workshops on health, cooking and creativity, lectures and round tables on disability prevention and rights, advocacy in the drafting of laws and regulations, recreational and social gatherings, and help with access to benefits and rights. The association receives institutional support from the National Foundation for Civil Society Development and funding from the City of Samobor, Zagreb County and other public bodies, and it is also active in ongoing fundraising campaigns for individual members.
