VVOB

Founded in 1982, VVOB is a non-governmental organisation based in Brussels, Belgium working on education.

VVOB is an international non-profit organisation working to strengthen the quality of education systems in Africa, Asia and South America. It works in close partnership with ministries of education and their institutions, providing technical assistance and capacity development focused on teachers and school leaders. VVOB also facilitates knowledge exchange and learning between education stakeholders across borders, drawing on research and experience. Its programmes are monitored and evaluated, and it works through government systems so that approaches are scalable and sustainable. The organisation has operated since 1982 and reported a team of over 290 people in 2024. Its vision is an equitable world in which governments are capacitated to respect, protect and fulfil the right to quality education for every learner.
