The company pioneers small and medium-scale hydroelectricity development and was the first independent producer to operate hydro-electric facilities transferred by Hydro-Québec. With approximately 949 MW of installed wind capacity representing 25% of Quebec's wind power, Hydromega also develops and operates solar, biomass, and biogas projects. The company manages 9 hydroelectric facilities across Quebec and Northern Ontario with 137 MW of developed and operated hydroelectric capacity. Hydromega handles full project lifecycle including design, construction, financing, and operations across both provinces.
