The Bianchi Herstelrecht Stichting is a Dutch foundation that promotes the study of restorative justice, based on the work of Professor Thomas Hermanus Bianchi. It works by providing funds, at intervals of two to three years, to a person, association or institution that has made a distinguished contribution to restorative justice, advised by a scientific committee. It also awards the annual Bianchi Herstelrechtprijs, organises evening events such as the Avond voor Herstelrecht at Kamp Amersfoort, and is funded through donations, bequests and subsidies. The foundation has no profit motive, its board members receive no remuneration, and its surplus on dissolution would go to scientific research.
