It works to improve medical oncology training through continuing medical education and events for doctors, raises public awareness of breast cancer prevention and healthy lifestyles, conducts and commissions scientific research, and publishes in the field. It also runs patient forums and events such as the Patients Master Class and the National Patients Forum.
