Sofia Development Association is a non-profit resource centre in Sofia, Bulgaria. It tests innovations in culture and digital transformation and runs research, analysis and educational programmes. It creates conditions for ongoing dialogue between civil society, creative communities, business, academic institutions and Sofia Municipality. It was established by Sofia Municipal Council Resolution 348 in 2010 and is registered in public benefit under the Not-for-Profit Legal Entities Act. It organises hackathons and funds solutions to public challenges, and works on civic engagement, migrant inclusion, countering hate speech, and climate and urban development.
