Varna Economic Development Agency (VEDA) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental association registered to operate in the public benefit. Founded in 1997 under a joint programme of Varna Municipality and USAID, it works to create conditions for sustainable economic development of Varna and the wider region in Bulgaria. VEDA runs and takes part in national and European projects covering skills training, sustainable tourism, climate adaptation in schools and agriculture, and blue economy development. It is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Regional Development Agencies and Business Centers.
