Dinamo Fonds is a Dutch foundation (stichting) with ANBI status that supports the restoration and protection of biodiversity, nature and landscape, animal welfare and monumental heritage in the Netherlands. It is funded mainly by the returns on an endowment built up since 1991 by its founder Donald van Raalte, plus donations and legacies. The fund finances projects through regular, thematic and innovative grant rounds, held at a spring meeting, and also funds welfare costs for heath sheep flocks and their shepherds, including vaccination against bluetongue and Q fever. It also runs project partnerships with provincial landscape management organisations and invests in research and knowledge sharing. Its office is in Amsterdam. Donations are passed on in full to supported projects, with no fees deducted. The fund's stated focus excludes purely educational projects.
