Doruvael Buitenzorg is a care farm in Blokland, near Montfoort in the Netherlands, run by Stichting Zorgboerderij Doruvael Buitenzorg, an ANBI-approved foundation founded in 2019. It provides meaningful day activities on a working dairy and cheese farm for vulnerable people from the Montfoort region, including people with intellectual or physical disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, psychological problems or burn-out, chronic illness, and young people with disabilities or behavioural difficulties. Activities include animal care, farm work, cheese making, and work in the tearoom and farm shop, with a focus on participation, self-reliance and skill development. The foundation also funds extra wishes outside the farm budget, such as outings, facility improvements and animal enclosures, supported by donations from its Friends foundation.
