El Desafío is a Dutch-Argentinean non-profit organisation with offices in the Netherlands and Argentina. It works to reduce structural poverty in Argentina through two strands: youth development, which builds life skills in young people living in poverty, and citizen participation, which equips society to take part in addressing social problems. Its programmes run with young people, mostly in situations of exclusion, in the southern neighbourhoods of Rosario, and use sports, art, cooking, dance, coding and other activities as a vehicle for skill-building. The organisation states that its programmes are monitored and evaluated.
