About
Founded in 1998, European Blood Alliance is a non-profit network based in Amsterdam, Netherlands working on health, science & research.
The European Blood Alliance (EBA) is a non-profit association under Dutch law, with its registered office in Amsterdam and an office in Brussels. It represents public and not-for-profit blood establishments across Europe, spanning the EU, EFTA and the UK. EBA fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange among its members, and provides evidence-based expertise to national and European institutions. Its work aims to ensure a safe, high-quality, cost-effective and sustainable blood and tissue supply, and to promote voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation. Through working groups, a benchmarking group and EU-funded projects, EBA supports blood services and advocates for patients and donors.
