Gezamenlijke Militaire Fondsen

Gezamenlijke Militaire Fondsen is a non-profit network based in Amsterdam, Netherlands working on poverty & hunger.

Stichting Gezamenlijke Militaire Fondsen (GMF) is a coordinating foundation for five Dutch military funds that provide financial and social assistance to military personnel, former military personnel, and their surviving dependants who are in financial hardship. The GMF coordinates fundraising among the participating funds, including periodic donations and testamentary gifts, and distributes the collected money annually among them. The funds themselves decide on individual support applications, which are submitted through the defence social work service or the Netherlands Veterans Institute. Support takes the form mainly of gifts and interest-free loans. The GMF is an ANBI-registered charity based in Amsterdam, and its board members serve without remuneration.
