About
Founded in 1967, Haella Stichting is a grant-making foundation based in Den Haag, Netherlands working on refugees & migration, human rights, peace & conflict +4 more.
Haella Stichting is a Dutch grant-making foundation founded in 1967 by Mr. A.G. Dake and Mrs. H.L.A. Dake-van Noppen. It supports small, innovative initiatives in the Netherlands and abroad that work on poverty, human rights, peace, faith and society, women's rights, and the situation of undocumented people. Its international focus includes refugees and migrants at Europe's external borders, particularly in Greece and France, where it supports more than forty organisations offering legal aid, emergency relief, medical and psychosocial care, and advocacy. It also funds partners in Uganda, including women's and youth organisations, and provides small grants of up to 4,000 euro per initiative. The foundation coordinates the Kleine Armoede Hulp initiative with other asset funds and is governed by a volunteer board that receives no remuneration. It holds ANBI public-benefit status. Its capital is managed by the related Stichting Haella Vermogensbeheer, which distributes annual funds to Haella Stichting.
