The aid aims to give people a fresh start and to support a structural solution to their problem. The foundation is run entirely by volunteers, works with the municipality of Heumen, churches and social welfare agencies, and is funded by municipal subsidies and contributions from various organisations. Applicants submit a request form. The foundation holds ANBI status, so donations are tax-deductible, subject to a threshold unless a periodic gift agreement is made.
