Its work covers housing, food, education and medical care for children in Kenya. It supports projects such as a baby rescue centre, HIV care for children, a tailoring and design training project for women and youth in Ngong, a primary school in Kibiku, and a scholarship programme for high school and university students. Local partner organisations own and run their projects, while Huruma MEVA provides financial, material and personal support. The foundation is recognised as a public-benefit institution (ANBI), relies on donors, sponsors and volunteers, and is led by an unpaid board of five.
