Kringloop Aktief is a Dutch thrift and reuse organisation run by Stichting Aktief Groep. It collects and resells second-hand household goods, clothing and building materials through shops and collection points in the Achterhoek region, including Doetinchem, Gendringen, Groenlo and Winterswijk. Its main purpose is to help people with a distance to the labour market find work or training through coaching and structured work placements, while reducing waste and CO2 emissions by reusing products. It also runs repair cafés and local reuse projects for building materials, such as a collaboration with Stadsmijn Achterhoek, and reports that it recycles around 82% of the goods it receives.
