Ons Dorpshuis

Ons Dorpshuis is a community organisation based in Giethoorn, Netherlands working on community development, arts & culture.

Ons Dorpshuis is run by Stichting Dwarsgrachts Gemeenschapshuis, an independent foundation recognised as an ANBI. It operates the village community centre in Dwarsgracht, near Giethoorn, as an open meeting place for residents. The centre hosts social, cultural and educational activities for young and old, rents out its hall for private and group gatherings, and relies on volunteers and donors (donateurs) who pay a small annual contribution. Its activities include workshops, courses, singing, a theatre group, a choir, a historical society, and neighbourly support through SvoZ.
