Stichting ISA is a Dutch foundation that runs three Islamic primary schools across four locations in Amsterdam, with a preschool (voorschool) offering. The schools, known as As-Siddieq schools, provide quality education to Muslim children of all nationalities and to others who accept the schools' principles. Their approach combines academic learning with social-emotional, spiritual and moral development, and is based on a pedagogical vision of rest, regularity and cleanliness. The foundation is governed by a one-tier board model and has a central participation council (GMR) with parent and staff representation. Parents are invited to volunteer in school activities, excursions and events.
