TruColours

TruColours is a community organisation based in Amsterdam, Netherlands working on addiction, community development.

TruColours is a recovery community in Amsterdam, with a second location in Utrecht, for people in recovery from addiction. It offers a free or low-cost, judgement-free meeting place with coffee, self-help groups (more than fifty per week), workshops, training, yoga, meditation and social events. Many volunteers are former visitors who now support others. The organisation also rents its rooms to self-help groups, training providers and community organisations, and cooperates with care, welfare and social organisations. It is a foundation run by and for people in recovery.
