Uit de Buurtfabriek

Founded in 2016, Uit de Buurtfabriek is a charity based in Eindhoven, Netherlands working on employment & skills, community development.

Uit de Buurtfabriek is an ANBI-certified social furniture workshop in Eindhoven. It creates a supportive working environment where people with a temporary distance to the labour market can work, learn and grow through woodworking, guided by workshop supervisors and volunteers. The organisation produces bespoke, design-led wooden furniture for businesses, schools, care institutions and individuals, and works with partners to make its products affordable for organisations that could not otherwise afford them. Its work is focused on re-integration into employment and on building self-esteem and daily structure for participants.
