VALUE Foundation is a Dutch non-profit foundation that designs, facilitates and conducts research, development and outreach at the crossroads of gaming and academia. It creates accessible, interactive knowledge projects that connect heritage, archaeology and other academic fields with play, working with students, young people, the gaming community and research institutions. Its activities include the Culture Arcade exhibition with the Prince Claus Fund, educational Minecraft reconstruction projects and consultancy and playful workshops. The foundation was founded in March 2017 to build on the work of the earlier VALUE project and is run by volunteers.
