Stichting VIV (Vrouwen Integratie Vandaag) is a foundation run by and for women, founded in 2005 in Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands. It aims to strengthen the self-confidence and self-reliance of women from other countries and cultures, supporting their emancipation, integration and participation in Dutch society. It organises Dutch language lessons, conversation groups and language buddy support, with computer skills integrated and practical excursions to local institutions. Lessons are given by volunteers at its location on Zonneplein in Bergen op Zoom. The target group is women of non-Dutch origin who are not subject to the civic integration requirement. VIV is funded through subsidies, fundraising and participant fees, and holds ANBI status.
