WATER is LEVEN is a charity based in Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands working on water & sanitation, health, employment & skills.

Stichting WATER is LEVEN is a Dutch foundation that builds drinking water projects in remote rural areas of southern Tanzania, near Njombe. Its water supports people's health and irrigation for growing vegetables and macadamia nuts, with the aim of improving living conditions over time. Donations go to projects approved by the board, which are carried out by a local partner in Tanzania. Progress is monitored from the Netherlands and reported on the website. The foundation is recognised as an ANBI, so gifts can be deducted from income tax, and its board and policy makers are unpaid.
