About
Founded in 2025, DELYCIOUS Project is a ngo headquartered in European Union specializing in Hydrogen.
DELYCIOUS (Diagnostic tools for ELectrolyserS: Cost-efficient, Innovative, Open, Universal and Safe) is a collaborative research project funded by the European Union's Clean Hydrogen Partnership (GA 101192075). The consortium consists of 8 partners across 5 European countries. The project develops advanced real-time monitoring and diagnostic tools, integrating hardware and virtual sensors applicable across alkaline (AEL), proton exchange membrane (PEMEL), and solid oxide (SOEL) electrolysis technologies. These tools predict 95% of faults and enhance system reliability. Key objectives include establishing an Energy Management System and open-access monitoring platform, developing flexible test environments for systems exceeding 100 kW, and creating advanced algorithms for understanding degradation mechanisms. The project aims to extend electrolyzer lifespan, lower system and ownership costs, and support commercial adoption by 2030, with a goal of 99% reliability and industry-standard solutions by 2040.
