Founded in 1989 following the Velvet Revolution, the company manufactures a comprehensive range of turbine types including Kaplan, Pelton, and Francis designs. The company serves diverse hydrological conditions from low-head sites (approximately 1.5-2m) to high-head applications (up to 500m), with flow capacities ranging from 10 l/s to 100,000 l/s. Maximum output capacity is limited to 10MW. The company builds on a Czech tradition in hydro turbine manufacturing and engineering dating back to the 19th century, including the invention of the Kaplan turbine at Czech Technical University in Brno.
