SolidarityWorks is a women-led, change-driven civil society organisation founded in 2018 and based in the village of Drugan, municipality of Radomir, in south-west Bulgaria, with activities also in Sofia. It works to promote intergenerational and intercultural dialogue, empower marginalised groups, youth, women and older people, and prevent domestic and intimate partner violence. Its methods include art, storytelling, advocacy and self-development, including the Authentic Relating mindfulness practice. The organisation receives funding mainly from EU programmes, with additional support from corporate and feminist donors, which it screens against its environmental and human-rights values.
