About

Founded in 2018, Compile-project is a ngo headquartered in EU specializing in Solar, Energy Storage.

COMPILE is a Horizon 2020-funded project that brings together 20+ partners to advance energy communities through technical solutions and community engagement. The project established five pilot sites across Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain, demonstrating the integration of photovoltaic systems, energy management tools, and community-based renewable energy initiatives. Key outcomes include digital platforms (ComPilot, GridRule, HomeRule, EVRule) for managing energy communities, a COOLkit knowledge-sharing repository, and a Value Tool for economic evaluation of rooftop PV installations. The project concluded on 31 October 2022 but continues to disseminate findings and best practices.
