Founded in 2019, Res4build is a renewable energy company headquartered in EU specializing in Solar, Geothermal, Biomass.
Res4build is an EU Horizon 2020 research and innovation project that developed integrated renewable energy-based solutions tailored to decarbonize building energy consumption. The project addressed challenges in renewable heating/cooling adoption through technological innovation and standardization. Key focus areas include ground source heat exchangers, heat pump systems, solar-biomass reversible systems, PV/T collectors, phase change materials, building-integrated renewable energy systems, and advanced control strategies. The project demonstrates Positive Energy District concepts and works with case studies including Royal Visio healthcare facilities in the Netherlands and MartiniPlaza event center in Groningen. Partners span 15 organizations across 8 countries including research institutes and industry players. Project outputs include scientific publications, technical deliverables, and results available on the EU Horizon Results Booster Platform.
