DIGITISE (Digital Innovative cross-sector services for Greater citizen Integration in a just energy TransItion and Societal Empowerment) is a Horizon Europe project funded under grant agreement N 101160671. The project integrates cutting-edge technologies including Digital Twins, DLT-enabled Marketplaces, AI Analytics, and Big Data Management to empower consumers and prosumers in the energy transition. It operates demonstration sites in four countries: Greece (Aspra Spitia), Spain (Espinardo), Ireland (Ringsend Irishtown with 20 homes and solar PV, EV charging, batteries), and Croatia (Zagreb with 82 households). DIGITISE focuses on demand-side flexibility, virtual power plants for residential solar, energy communities, smart meter data analytics, and consumer empowerment through digital literacy and sustainable energy practices.
