EERA is a non-profit headquartered in Brussels, Belgium specializing in Solar, Wind, Hydro.

EERA (European Energy Research Alliance) is a membership-based, non-profit association of more than 250 universities and public research centres in over 30 countries. It coordinates low-carbon energy research through 18 Joint Programmes covering technologies such as solar PV, concentrated solar power, wind, hydropower, geothermal, bioenergy, ocean energy, energy storage, fuel cells and hydrogen, as well as systemic topics like smart grids, energy systems integration and the clean energy transition. EERA acts as the research pillar of the EU Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan) and provides policy briefs, position papers and expertise to European policymakers and industry.
