9Northwind Park
Five operational offshore wind turbines in the Belgian North Sea, 42 km from Zeebrugge. ZuidtrAnt holds a 7% stake as part of a coalition of 32 Belgian energy cooperatives representing 125,000 citizens.
Prinses Elisabethzone I
Planned new offshore wind park in the Belgian North Sea. ZuidtrAnt participates in a consortium with Otary, Ocean Winds and Eneco to develop this project with mandatory citizen participation.
Rooftop Solar Installations
28 rooftop solar installations across the service area. In 2023 alone, nine new rooftop solar systems were installed with a total capacity of 644 kWp, producing 1,656 MWh annually and avoiding 272 tonnes of CO2.
Opnieuw & Co Energy Community
First energy community featuring 770 solar panels on the Opnieuw & Co logistics facility at Minervesite 409 in Mortsel. Energy produced is shared with branch locations in Duffel, Kontich, Lier and Mortsel.
DeeldeZon
Innovative project combining seven rooftop solar installations with nine electric vehicle charging stations and nine shared vehicles. Project ran from 2018 to May 2023.
R-E-FLEX
Scalable and modular charging plaza concept that combines renewable energy production with energy storage in stationary batteries and electric vehicle batteries to provide network flexibility.
Loof & Bezen
Organic farm and self-harvest operation in Wommelgem providing local produce, education and inclusive green care services. ZuidtrAnt supports land acquisition efforts to secure permanent farming land.
