Founded in 2022, Pump-Up is a ngo headquartered in EU specializing in Hydrogen.

Pump-Up is a European Union co-funded project that brings together universities, vocational education and training schools, consulting firms, and sector experts from seven countries to address skills gaps in the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning sector. The project focuses on upskilling HVAC technicians on heat pump technologies in response to EU forecasts projecting 60 million heat pump installations by 2030. Key deliverables include: development of seven learning units for formal VET; a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC); a Virtual Assistant application for smartphones providing step-by-step guidance on heat pump installation and maintenance; trainers' guides; a micro-credentials recognition scheme; revised occupational requirements and professional profiles; and a European Union-wide qualification blueprint. The project organizes national info-days, on-site training seminars targeting approximately 900 HVAC technicians and 70 trainers, and plans a European-wide conference in Brussels in 2026 on HVAC technology trends and reskilling needs.
